I’m Meg, and I help women service providers create beautiful, functional, easy-to-maintain websites so they can finally feel proud to show off their business’s online home.

When you think about designing & maintaining your website, how does it make you feel?

If you’re like most hardworking, dedicated women entrepreneurs, you want a website that reflects your business vision and attracts dream clients. But it feels overwhelming, and you struggle to get it done on your own.

You’ve considered doing it all yourself, but as soon as you start exploring templates and website platforms and tutorials, you realize that you don’t have the time, skills, or heck, maybe even the desire to do this stuff.

Even if you already created a website, you just wish it was easier and less stressful.

You feel that if only you had a website that you could maintain easily, you could release your tech worries and spend more time on the work you love.

That’s where I come in…

Hi, I’m Meg!

I’m a Squarespace Web Designer for women service providers who want a website that reflects their brand and business vision but lack the time, desire, or skills to do it themselves.

In addition to my technology and design experience, I draw upon my mindfulness training, applying deep focus to create easy-to-maintain websites that balance beauty and function so my clients can proudly share their online home, attract more dream clients, and replace website worries with more time to focus on the work they love.

A Few Fun Facts About Me…

  • I’m certified in 4 different types of Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation, and Breathwork

  • My love for dark chocolate borders on troubling

  • During the pandemic, I learned to brew my own lattes and craft a solid cocktail. (Talk about a major $$ saver!)

  • I listen to instrumental jazz music to focus while I work.

Curious to know how I ended up here?
Get cozy, because it’s a bit of story!

  • Chapter 1: The Seed is Planted

My parents encouraged my siblings and I to explore our creative talents. We each had our own niche. My brother was the formally trained artist, my sister the singer with the voice of an angel, and I was the musician.

I didn’t think I could make a career as a musician (silly), and this was long before the internet, so websites weren’t something I could imagine. So, I took my other love for Math and Finance, studied Economics, and launched my career.

  • Chapter 2: A New Love is Discovered

Fast-forward to the late ‘90s, when I was working in finance for an advertising company and was bitten by the technology bug. I loved it! So off I went to get an MBA with an IT focus.

During my studies, I learned about ALL the technologies of the time: networks, databases, Java & HTML, you name it. But when we got to building websites…swoon! I immediately built a site for a tax project at work.

I was so proud of my work and had so much fun, but this didn’t translate into a career shift.

  • Chapter 3: The Corporate IT Years

After completing my degree, instead of designing websites, I spent the next 15+ years working in IT Finance, Project Management, and as an IT Systems Manager for two major US Companies.

My work focused mostly on the infrastructure (behind the scenes/keeping the lights on stuff) and not the user-facing stuff like websites. It was important work, and I was quite successful, but it was stressful. I was burnt out and very unhappy. Then, one day, everything changed.

The day I got laid off, I wasn’t upset. I was so relieved! I had a chance to start fresh, so I spent the next few years scratching my creative and entrepreneurial itch.

  • Chapter 4: A New Life & Career Begins

With my first business came my first website, and all that joy I felt in grad school reappeared! Fast-forward to my second business, teaching yoga and meditation online. Again, I loved designing and working on my website and blogging and realized I loved spending as much time doing that as I did teaching yoga & meditation.

I started getting positive feedback and inquiries from fellow wellness professionals who loved my site but were uncomfortable with the tech and wanted my help. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to go all in, get some formal training, and begin my transition to becoming a web designer!

Today, I help fellow women service providers create online homes for their businesses that they’re proud to share and don’t require a technology degree to maintain.

My work is guided by…

Integrity

I believe that business is personal. Investing in a designer requires trust, understanding, and respect. This is a relationship, not a transaction. Working with me, you can expect a supportive, honest relationship, free of BS, where I treat your business as if it were my own.

Mindfulness

I use my mindfulness training to limit distractions and apply deep focus to my work. This is why I only work with one client at a time. During your project dates, my attention is dedicated to you alone.
